CINCINNATI — Michelle Robinson didn’t pull the trigger that day in 2007, but her sentence was stiffer than the man who did.

After a decade in jail and a failed appeal, it was a detailed letter from a co-defendant professing her innocence that allowed the 47-year-old to walk free.
